1 Year Limited Warranty information for Great Lakes Finesse Rods

Great Lakes Finesse rods are covered against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase.   Our responsibility for defective rods is limited to repair or replacement, as described below.

For the period indicated, Great Lakes Finesse will, at its option after inspection, repair or replace and return the covered items found to be defective in material or workmanship at no charge except for shipping cost, which will be paid by you. 

This Limited Warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the rod (“you”) and does not give any rights to any other person. This Limited Warranty is only available to consumers purchasing the products in the United States and Canada through our Authorized Great Lakes Finesse Retailers.

Exclusions: 

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage by addition or alteration of the product, accidental damage or loss, abuse, or normal expected wear. This Limited Warranty does not extend to products which are put to commercial or rental use.

Limitations of Liability:

GREAT LAKES FINESSE WILL HAVE NO OTHER OBLIGATION AND WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW EXCLUSIONS OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LIMITATIONS OF THE DURATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION AND LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. 

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. 

Wholesalers and dealers are not authorized to make in-warranty repairs, replacements, or adjustments on behalf of Great Lakes Finesse. The terms of the Limited Warranty cannot be changed except in writing by an officer of Great Lakes Finesse. Great Lakes Finesse rods requiring limited warranty coverage should NOT be returned to the store of purchase.

How to make a warranty claim:

To help us best service you, please print out and complete a Rod Replacement Form. Include the completed form when you mail us your rod. Please also send a copy of your dated receipt. Package your rod carefully to avoid damage so it can be properly inspected. We suggest sending your rod via UPS, FedEx or insured mail and recording your tracking number.

Once the rod is inspected and deemed to be defective and covered by this Limited Warranty, we will repair or replace rod free of charge.  You must pay for shipping and handling fees to return the repaired or replacement product to you. If we no longer offer the model or it is not in stock and a replacement is required, Great Lakes Finesse/Lurenet will, at its discretion, replace it with the closest comparable rod from our current product line. If the product is not entitled to repair or replacement under this Limited Warranty, you may choose to use our no-fault replacement service (described below), if available, or pay shipping and handling fees to have us return your rod, whichever you prefer.

No-fault replacement service:

Our core value and commitment of providing incredible customer service to the angler has been the driving force behind Great Lakes Finesse. Our No-fault replacement service reflects that commitment. Occasionally, things do not go as planned and you experience accidental rod breakage. In these cases, the no-fault replacement service has you covered!

How the no-fault replacement service works: Please email Lurenet Customer at https://www.lurenet.com/contact-us and advise that you would like the no-fault replacement service for your rod. They will email you back requesting the model number and a picture of the broken rod. Once received they will give you a call. Have payment information ready when they call. If your product qualifies, you can order a replacement rod at 50% off MSRP and includes FREE shipping* (excludes Canadian orders). The No-fault replacement order will ship the next business day. That is it!

If we no longer offer the model or it is not in stock, Great Lakes Finesse/Lurenet will, at its discretion, replace it with the closest comparable rod from our current product line.

Please note:

- The No-fault replacement service is limited to one replacement per rod.

- Great Lakes Finesse/Lurenet reserves the right to VOID any claims

- Normal wear and tear is not covered

 

Our No-fault replacement services is supplemental to the Limited Warranty, but is not a warranty itself.  Great Lakes Finesse may change the terms or discontinue the No-fault replacement service at any time.
